   Wapsipinicon Country Club is a member of the Women's Eastern Iowa Golf Association (WEIGA) League.

   If you are competitive, you will love playing in this tournament! We play as a team, however, there are also individual awards as well.

   This Organization has a structured, annual golf tournament that rotates between 8 participating golf courses. These courses include Wapsipinicon Country Club, Monticello Golf Club, Fawn Creek Country Club, Wahkonsa, West Liberty, Tipton, Mount Vernon-Kernoustie and Solon-Lake McBride.

   Each club hosts an invitational at their club. These scores may be used to qualify for the Wapsi team. Weather you are qualifying or not, all Wapsi ladies are welcome to play in the invitationals for $12, this includes a light breakfast and lunch. Skin game is available for $3 if you want to. Cart rental is extra.

   By-Laws and Rules are enforced for this tournament.

How to Qualify

​

  • You must be a member of Wapsi to participate as a Wapsi Lady

  • There is no age limit to play in this tournament

  • Wapsi's requirements to qualify for this tournament

    • Four of your best league scores will be used

    • You must play in 2 invitationals; 1 home/1 away or 2 away (using your 2 best scores

    • If you are not on Ladies' League and want to participate contact Deb Byers for more information

Who gets to participate in the Tournament?

  • The top nine players players from each club will qualify to play and are ranked from 1-9 and you will then be paired with others from the same rank

  • There are 2 alternate players just in case one of the top 9 are not able to play

  • Only the top 7 scores are used in the tournament and totaled after each 9 holes

  • There is a red 3-ring binder by the scorecards in the clubhouse for you to signup for the invitationals

  • Scores are updated and tracked weekly

  • Scholarship Opportunity - High School Seniors or Students attending College may apply. You must be a member to apply. Check the board in the clubhouse for an application.
